Pilotrake privacy notice

What data we process, why, who sees it and how you can have it corrected or deleted.

Who the controller is

If you write to us or request a job

From the request form we process municipality, type of work, dates, description, name, email or phone. We use them to find pilots in the area, who can see them in order to reply.

From the contact form we process what you write and your contact details, in order to reply. The basis is your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

If you leave feedback or vote

Feedback goes to the pilot, who decides whether to show it on their page with name and business. Email and phone are not shown.

For street voting we keep a cookie until midnight and, for that day only, an encrypted fingerprint of the network, to count one vote per day. No name, email or number. Visits are counted only as a daily number.

If you are a pilot

We process your account and profile data, including photo, phone, qualifications and address, and what you enter in the panel: cards, quotes, work, tickets. They are needed to provide the service (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Only the public profile fields appear on your public page. Your address and account email never appear.

You manage the data of your clients that you enter, as an independent professional.

If your business is in a pilot's portfolio

The portfolio collects the name, address, website, phone and email of businesses from public sources, primarily OpenStreetMap, with source and date. We give it to pilots in the area so they can offer their services. The basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR); where a country's law requires otherwise for commercial calls or emails, that law applies.

You can object at any time, by telling the pilot or writing to us. Your card is marked «do not contact» and the mark applies to all pilots. You can also ask for the data to be corrected or deleted.

Who processes data for us

Hetzner Online GmbH: servers and backups, in Germany. Email goes through our own servers. Bluix ID, our single sign-in, if you choose to use it.

In the panel the map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives your network address. Today we do not use artificial intelligence services on your data and there are no payments on Pilotrake: if this changes, we will write it here first.

We do not sell data and we do not use advertising or profiling.

How long we keep it

As long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or until you ask for deletion unless the law requires us to keep it. Automatic deletion does not exist yet: today it is done on request. Backups are overwritten in rotation.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection: write to support@pilotrake.com. You can also contact the data protection authority of your country.

Cookies

Technical cookies only: the session, which also remembers the language, form protection and, if you vote, the voting cookie. No profiling or third-party cookies.
